Frequency of therapy is dependent on the clinician’s recommendation. Frequency is reduced with the use of Allied Health Assistance- this is a more cost effective way to receive therapy at a lower rate.

2 hours- Developing sensory routine to address the clients sensory needs.
Implementing routine
2- 4 hours- Trialling strategies, amending routine if required and training parents/ carers/ supports.

Assistive Technology
Basic (Level 1/ 2 or low -risk): 8 hours:
Includes assessment, recommendations, sourcing equipment, support letter.
Examples include: Use of consumables funding; small AT such as eating/ drinking aids, 4WW, shower chair and installation of grab rails.
General (Level 2 or low/ medium risk or multiple items): 12 hours
includes assessment, recommendations, sourcing equipment, trial, support letter.
Examples include: Manual wheelchair (non-scripted), standing transfer aids, pressure relief mattress, power recliner/seating and minor home modifications.
Complex (Level 3 or high-risk): 15 hours per item
Includes assessment, liaising with suppliers, sourcing equipment, trials and AT report.
Examples include: Power wheelchair, hoist, shower commode and hi-lo bed.
